Dixie’s & Dexter’s Stories
Dixie was brought to Wanakia Wildlife as an adolescent duck who had been fed milk, canned green beans and corn flakes. Her bones did not form correctly due to this poor nutrition. Dexter, originally mistaken for a wild duck, is a domestic duck and is kept as a cage mate for Dixie.
