Center Volunteer Hours & Training
Opportunities to provide animal care are available seven days a week. Center volunteers, who must be at least age 12, usually work one or two two-hour shifts per week, preferably committing to morning or afternoon. There are no evening shifts.
Hands-on training is provided by Executive Director & President Marty Thompson. Age and experience dictate tasks. Duties are expanded once a comfort level develops between volunteer and animal.
