Educational Ambassadors

Meet wildlife. Understand its role.

Wanakia Wildlife holds state and federal permits to house and display animals whose permanent disabilities prevent them from returning to their wild habitat. These animals become educational ambassadors who help teach the community about their natural behaviors and how to peacefully coexist with their species.

Educational sessions are presented to all ages and a variety of organizations, including school, scout and community groups. Participants can observe firsthand how wildlife is adapted to serve important roles in the ecosystem, including in our backyards, school yards and parks.
